Thumbs up Bada$$ chili!

4 Strips bacon, fried until crispy.
Two medium large sized cans of dark red kidney beans.
Two cans of Rotel diced tomatoes and chilis.
Two large cans of stewed tomatoes(shredded up is better?)
1 pound ground turkey or hamburger(I use turkey)
4 or 5 dried red peppers(Fiesta brand if they have it)
1 small can of tomato sauce.
5 tablespoons or more of chili powder
garlic, minced onions, steak seasoning, and salt to taste.
1 large white onion
Shredded cheddar cheese for on top of each bowl.

Brown the turkey or hamburger, with garlic, minced onions, and steak seasoning. Drain extra fat if needed.

Put the browned meat into a large pot, and pour all of the canned tomato based products over it. Add the chili powder and salt, you may need more or less chili powder depending on how strong a flavor you like.
Chop half the onion coarsely and throw in the pot also. Crumble the bacon into small pieces and add it too.
Bring to a boil, then add the kidney beans. drain the juice from one can beforehand, and dump the whole thing from the other. Chop the red peppers up as fine as you can(biting into a big chunk of one is not recommended, lol!) and throw them in. Cover the pot and simmer for about a half hour, stirring occaisionally so it won't burn. Scoop the chili into bowls, and cover generously with cheddar cheese and the rest of the chopped onion. Serve with some type of corn chips or frito style chips.

A word of warning.....Although this tastes VERY good, it may come back and bite you later. Either in one end or the other So keep some TUMS and/or Rolaids around just in case.,,,,,98

Rotten fish and sharks???? I can eat almost anything, but that would go back to the kitchen with more on the plate than it came out with, LOL!

"...and what else than ammonia smells like ammonia????"

Cmon over here and check out the cat litter box just before it gets changed...... ammonia to a TEE.

Hey rogi, maybe you guys can use it for some special recipe or something. (I can ship it fed ex collect, HAHA)

I had dinner one night at this little 'hole in the wall' in Istanbul...
I gotta tell you, it took every ounce of my manhood to not be rude and eat everything my hosts ordered for me.

Everything on the plate had eyes, and more than 2..... it was like a horro movie....oy, I still get the chills thinking about it.

The Turks have this drink, I forgot what it's called, but it's similar to the Oozo the Greeks drink, it's water colour, and you can run a jet engine off it.

Habibi takes a tiny forkful of the fishy stuff (eyes and all), then guzzles half a glass of the Turkish oozo down to kill the taste.

I was sooo hammered after that meal.

Next time its just gonna be the 'meats on the stick": for this guy!

Here's a good winter meal

Hillshire Sausage or Kilbasa
Can of diced stewed tomatoes - I usually use the Italian seasoned kind
Diced refrigerated potatoes
Seasons if you like, garlic/oregano/pepper (optional)

Cut up the kilbasa into small pieces, put in a pot
Dump in the can of stewed diced tomatos
Dump in the diced potatoes
Add seasonings (optional)

Heat up then let simmer for 1/2 hour. Oh my god, it's soooo easy and soooo good. Eat with soft bread to soak up the juice....
