Question Another my used F150 4x4 question?

This may be a dumb question but I'm really curious. I just bought a used F150 XLT 4x4.
Here is something I notice. All the ones I see on the street have the stock "4x4" stickers on both sides of the box.
Mine says "4x4" with the words "off road" below it. This is a 2000 F150 by the way. Why does mine say "off road" and not the other 4x4 F150's I see on the road?

Some 4x4 models were sold with an offroad package . This probably included skid plates , shocks , LS diff etc.. Normal 4x4s don't usually come standard with these options . I may not be 100% on the options but I think you get my drift .

Yup. Off Road refers to Off Road Package or ORP. Includes skid plates, upgraded suspension, rims, and tires.

I think upgraded suspension is just "Heavy Duty" shocks.....

Yep...Raygun

Your truck has the off road package: Limited slip rear end, skid plates, 17 in wheels, heavy duty suspension, and probably the remote oil filter kit.
