Offroad pictures!!!

I want to see some pictures of some fullsize Fords doing some major offroading. I don't mean the kind where you pull off the edge of a road and take a picture. I've got some buddies who wheel Jeeps and think a truck can't do anything. I want to prove them wrong! Not only that but I'm bored and want something interesting to look at.

I've seen pictures like that in the galleries here and at the other site. Kind of hard to find, though. Look for pictures of Matt Adams' Explorer and F-150s in particular.

Not really a picture of off roading, but what can happen off roading. Its an 01 Explorer Sport Trac. It went all over the place in Colorado. It tackled and conqured Black Bear Pass and almost all of Poughkippsie. And many other 4 wheel drive roads.

I have walked by stuck jeeps in my lifted Ranger . As far as offroad is concerned the jeeps generally have an advantage over trucks . This due to the short wheel base and relatively wide stance . It is good in tight spots . The trucks are a good 4x4 until the turn is too tight or it gets high centered . They are trucks and have far more uses than just offroad . Try towing a 7000 lb. trailer for a 1000 miles up and down mountains with a jeep wrangler . I'm sure that trip would be quite the ride . A four wheel ATV can get around and over stuff a jeep can't . The point is that size does make a difference and should be used within their limitations .

I basically just want some pictures of some real world wheeling and not just mud bogging with trucks. Noone around here ever wheels with trucks that much. The only thing we ever get to see are a bunch of Jeeps. My truck is a 3/4 ton and does not flex very well, and I know that 1/2 tons will. As far as what things Jeeps will do that trucks won't is dependent upon what it is. I have climbed hills that there Jeeps wouldn't think about because of my wheelbase and my weight. I did find one guy that wheels the heck out of his and just want to see more.

If any of you have any thing like this I would like to see it. BTW, as soon as I get another scanner I will put plenty of pictures of mine up.
