Question Virginia F150 owners?

Out of curiosity, how many of you are from the Commonwealth? Anyone in the Hampton Roads area? Oddly, I see more industrial-use F-150s around here (Norfolk) than I do privately-owned...a few SCrews, even fewer HDs, and no Lightnings. Maybe I am just oblivious...

Thumbs up

I'm on the other side of the water.
I don't get over to Norfolk much, too much Navy traffic.

Thumbs up Well hey

So, there are others! Yeah, I know what you mean about the Navy traffic...just be thankful you don't have to drive to the base every morning (yeah, I am a Naval traffic contributor)

Yet another resident of the Old Dominion

>>>>But I'm wayyyyyyy on the opposite side of the state. Im on the southwestern end near Bristol if you know where that is. The western most tip of the state. Was up your way twice this year Raoul. Once working and the other time was passing through on vacation about a week ago. Was working up there earlier in the year for riot prevention when that supremecist group was holding that meeting at the Yorktown library. First time I'd been back there since the shipyard strikes. Was an uneventful trip which was good, I spent the day down at Tabb High School on stand by.

Be on your best behavior, Peacemaker. You are within JPF1715s zone of influence. Watch the News and don't cross the line until we have a Strike or such and he is out this way, crackin' heads.

You must be seeing the base commute traffic only!

I've seen quite a few Lightnings in the area, more F250s than I care to count at Lowes in the morning, and plenty of 150s, Supercrews, etc. Only a few Harley trucks so far though.

And Raoul, well don't worry about him.. you know how those people on the other side of the tunnel are.

Raoul, I just go across the line to get bread and groceries. Do you think I should dye my hair and put on a fake mustache to keep JPF1715 from cracking my head?

>>>>Thanks Raoul. Well it wasn't easy remembering the password. But thankfully it hit me that I'd etched it into the side of my computer monitor after that it was a piece of cake. I'd been checking in on the board from time to time but hadn't posted in awhile. Just bought my new SCrew this month and have been reinspired. Don't worry, due to budget woes and financial desperation by the Commonwealth they've cut back our head crackin to once a month to try and save a little money. Budget cuts seem to hit us in the strangest ways..lol

>>>>Peacemaker is my neighbor it seems. Just accross the state line from me. Hello neighbor! I'm over your way from time to time. On the rare occasion I get to take my boat to the lake and go fishing I head over to Norris Lake and put in at the public launch before you get to the 33 bridge. Either there or on down to Cherokee Lake.

>>>>Am trying to save up my money to open a convenience store down near the TN and Ky line. Ky is a dry county and evidentally it must be a little cheaper for beer and wine over here than TN because those stores down there do a killing in alcohol sales with a ton of customers from KY and TN. Especially during the weekend, they're down there with hand trucks wheeling it out to car after car on the weekends. Those guys who own those stores are gettin rich. Raoul, wanna go in with me.

JPF1715, I know what you mean about the beer/alcohol sales. There is a store called Boone's BP just a hop skip and a jump down the road from my house. And evertime I go there, they are wheeling out a bunch of cases of beer to put in the back of people's cars and trucks. Seem like evertime I go there, I run into a drunk man that wants to tell me his life story. I recently had two drunk men in a 63' Chevy pickup truck run through my house and almost killed my Dad and I. They came almost all the way through our living room. And totally demolished the downstairs portion of our house. But thank God we were'nt hurt or killed. Enough about that. I also go fishing over on Norris Lake. But it's been to hot lately. If it cools down, I'm gonna go and try to catch a few. Hopefully soon. Well, it's been good talkin' to ya neighbor. Take it easy.
