gas waster

ok they say you waste more gas by having the AC on. But they also say you can waste more gas by having the windows down. Ever thought that those 2 pieces of information are usless since well hey, you have to cool off somehow.

The point here is wasting gas right? Well like you say using your AC can waste gas, driving with the windows down waste gas. Let's say its 100 degrees out. You want to use your AC to stay cool right? Of course and besides if you had the windows down its going to waste gas. If you are eating the wrong things, that will help you to "pass" gas, well, now your in a hell of a situation

You already have the AC on to stay cool, but wasting gas. Now you have to roll the damn windows down to get rid of the "extra" gas in the cab. So now your really wasting gas, with the AC on, the windows down, and passing gas.

Damn, thats alot of wasted gas

I am a bit bored at the moment....

It's something to think about right? Don't you feel better your not wasting as much gas as you could be. Enjoy the AC

So you burn a little bit more gas to stay cool. If you wanted to save that gas, then you turn the a/c off. How can running the a/c to stay cool in hot weather be a waste? That extra gas is keeping you cool and relaxed. That's not a waste in my book.

Tell you what. You turn the a/c off, and keep the windows closed and you have yourself an instant sauna.

I figured I paid extra for the AC so I am going to use that bad boy. Its been hot and humid here most of the summer (new england) I have used it alot. One night we lost power and after about 30 mins of sweating I got in the truck and drove around for at least an hour with the AC blasting. If I could of rigged a hose from the truck up to my 3rd floor apartment I would have ran the truck and AC all night
