F-150 What?...

F-150 What?...

ran into a guy today that has a F-150 7700...looked like a long bed but had 6 lug wheels and a 3.77 rear end with 3/4 ton rating....never saw one before..told him about the web site ...hope he joins so he can download some pictures and tell us all about...anyone ever seen one before?

i believe ive seen those before, its pretty much the same as a f-250 light duty.

There is a guy here local that has one too. Blue/with silver trim. Asked him about it also and he said the F150 7700 is the upgraded 7700lb capacity model of the F150. Thats why it has the 6 lug wheels, lower gears and etc. I guess its just a beefier hauler/tower of the standard F150 model.

I think they actually have 7 lug wheels. Very hard to find any aftermarket wheels for them. They also have 10.25" rear ends if I remember correctly..... I wonder if that's true if you have the 4.6 in a 7700??

I wonder if that's the same type of rig I saw the other day. What I saw was a F-150 SuperCab with a long bed. I didn't realize that you could get a long bed with the S-Cab F-150 until I saw that thing. It also looked to be a 97 or 98 year model.

I stand corrected as to having 6 lugs as there are 7, you were right. I saw anothe one today at UNC hospital and actually looked at it closely and realized my mistake.
