Sounds like a blast!

We used to head over to my wife's parents house "Down East" and have our annual lobster beast, clams and beer. Haven't done it in 2 years due to hectic work schedules.

We'd start drinking beer around 9am getting stuff ready for cooking. By noon we'd have 3-4 lobsters in us and 6-8 beers. By 7pm the girls would start going to bed. By 9pm the guys would start to drop!

Mmmm Lobster

See, this is what you do....long before the steamers and lobsters are getting cooked, you offer all the kids hotdogs and hamburgers....they fill up on junk and when the lobsters are ready..suddenly they are not hungry...you tell them since you love them, you will not let their food go to waste...you'll force yourself to eat just one more lobster...even though you really shouldn't.........Kids, they are so easy...........
