Anybody ever have anything valuable and lose it?
Anybody ever have anything valuable and lose it?
I mean before you knew it was valuable? I did

So i run up the stairs and start diggin through my boxes of baseball cards and old magazines tryin to find the damn thing and a few hours later i just give up... my mom musta thrown it away...

Everything has value to someone. Otherwise there would not be garage sales.
I threw away a skateboard my mom purchased for me in 1976. I looked on ebay the other day and the trucks alone were selling for $750. The board was going for a couple hundred for a well used one. The wheels were the original orange OJs. I have not found a price on those. My board was in great condition when I through it out when I put my first house up for sale. I just assumed it was worthless. Who would want a 20 year old skateboard?
Funny thing is my oldest son (5 at the time) wanted a skateboard for Christmas this year. I had to buy a new skateboard to ride with him because none of his friends were riding at the time.
I have a few other examples. When I was a kid (9 I think) we played a game of baseball with a ball signed by most of the Giants from the 1954 World Series. Ruined that piece of history. But it was a hell of a good game
