Almost Here!!!
Greetings!
I just got off the phone with my Ford dealer.... My 2003 F150 is almost here!
The dealer gave me an ETA of 19 August. He said it could arrive late, but reports indicate that it will probably be early. He had a 2003 E Series delivered for a customer yesterday.
I was kind of surprised that Ford hasn't updated it's site with the 2003 model and my dealer is about to receive orders on them...
But after 2 months of waiting, it was VERY good news to say the least!

Bravo on the new purchase, yup, the waiting is the agonizing part.
I saw a new 2003 F150 at my local dealership last week.
I looked it over carefully, and it didn't seem to have anything different than the 2002 version.
It sure was nice though, 4x4, ext cab with prefered equipment group, and XLT with 4.6
The sticker was $38,500 Canadian, which I thought was kinda high.
I don't know why they are not available for order on the ford.ca website, yet, they are at the dealerships already.
Your guess is as good as mine.
Good luck with your new truck.

Thanks to both Gasguzzler007 and Habibi.
Habibi: Where did you pick up your Gibson Supertruck? I am east of Toronto and was wondering where you got yours as well as the price (if you don't mind me asking). I saw your pictures and really liked how it looked.
BTW: Nice truck. You've done a good job with it.
Now I just have to get some Liquid Glass so my new baby'll be set for winter (right after a trip to Krown).

Hi Robert,
I ordered the exhaust from Mr Runningboard in Kingston.
The owners name is Joe, and I've ordered many items from him.
I paid $575. for the exhaust including taxes, and $30. to Speedy for the install.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from the Van & Truck World franchise. My experience with them has been very unpleasant.
* High prices
* Poor Service
* Zero accountability
I'm sure you have a list made of inital items you want for your new truck.
Phone around, get prices, then give Joe a call.
I'm willing to bet a beer that his bid for your business will win easily, in addition, his aftersales service is 2nd to none. If there is a problem, he will do what it takes to makes things right.
Also, the fellow who runs the online store here "Roger Lemere" is a class act. I've got several items from him, and I highly recommend him. (remember, not all items are available in Canada)
If you can't find Joes number through a 411 search, email me, and I'll pass it along.
(Let me know if he quotes you a lower price than $575. If he does, then I'll go see him and rough him up, lol)
Good luck and happy modding!
