A Question For The Masters

i have a 96 f350 quadcab and a buddy of mine has a 00 f250 quadcab and in both cases i noticed these two black studs sticking ouf of the front of the back seat with torx bit heads on them. ummm what the hell are they?

If they are what I am thinking of, they are on the front edge of the seat cushion in the center of the rear seat , correct? If so, they are the mounts for a drink holder.

yes thats exactly where they are i thought thats what it was for. where can i get one of these drink holders from? i have to see a truck that actually had them?

I'll take a pic of mine tonight and post it for you. I assume you could get it from the dealer if you have an arm or a leg to spare - mine came with the truck.

JD - I love the Retrax - it's my 2nd one.

Glad you got the cover in Lawgrrl - now you just need to get it installed!

..........eventually..............Dad and I will drag our butts into the garage.........when the temperature goes down...........and the humidity..............and my truck isn't so hot to the touch......

A Retrax is a bedcover - specifically a "ridgid retractable bedcover" - along the lines of a rolltop desk.



IMO - It gives you the security of a hard cover, and the convenience/usability of a soft cover.
