Wishing you the best, Jimmy.

And watch out for those West Virginia doctors. After they sew your arms on, make sure when you clap your hands, your knuckles don't meet.

Happened to my Uncle. Left on Right, Right on Left.
It made life difficult but, at a restaurant, he could eat off somebody else's plate like nobody's business.

Man, that is not good. Glad that your able to come back here and tell us about it. Take it easy!

It sounds like you've got some rough times ahead. We are all here, so if you need advice or whatever I'm sure that there will be someone here that can help you out.

We all think it won't happen to us. Well the odds say that it will in fact happen to some of us. Hopefully it's all a thing of the past, real soon!

Good luck and get well soon!

Sorry to hear about the accident and Im glad to hear that you are alive and getting better.

But you mention you had been drinking, whose fault was the accident? Did the truck run a red light or did you pull out in front of him? Not trying to accuse you but Im just curious I guess. All of us make a screw up every now and then so I dont think anyone will jump down your back if you were at fault.

WOW! I'm glad you're (kinda) OK.
Having had both arms only fractured in a rear end accident, I can only imagine how bad that sucks.
Our good wishes and prayers are with you.
Keep us posted on your progress.

Holy Cow Jimmy Lee:
I'm glad to see that your alive! Being hit by a coal truck is some serious business. I'm sorry to hear about your vison in your left eye though. The good lord willing it will come back to you. I know a kid that broke both arms in a 4wheeler accident, couple of years back. He was 12 at the time though, not a very good situation to be in when you need to go to the bathroom. lol... {sorry had to get that in there} Sad to hear about the TA. Like wildchild said, I hope your girl wasn't in the car with you at the time? Keep us posted on your condition. Wishing you a speedy recovery Dude! Take care.

I've been too busy to check out this place for quite a while. I'm glad I have some time and energy to surf on over tonight, otherwise I may have missed your message.

I'm glad that you're on the road to recovery. Let's pray that your doctors are able to save your eye.

Man, two broken arms? Geeze, I hope I never have that happen to me. A couple of years ago, somebody I know broke his arms. That's when you realize how much you are not able to do by yourself without the use of your arms. He says it was a terribly humbling experience.

Glad you could get to the computer and peck out that message. Keep us informed as to your recovery.

I know a lot of good energy is now flowing your way from all around the country.

So sorry to here of the bad news. Hope you make a good recovery and can keep that eye. Take it one day at a time and everything should work out for you.
I have broken both arms (more than once) but never at the same time. I Know how bad it sucks to have one cast in this kind of heat we are having. Just find something to get down in there and scratch, I used the end of a fly swatter. It will get to stinking but talcum or baby powder may help.
Good luck, our prayers are with you. Let us know if there's anything we can do for ya.
