New chic to site

New here and wanted to say hi. I am originally from Waco but live in Houston. Just recently bought my L and love it to pieces.

Welcome!
As I'm sure you can imagine this site is a majority of men. I think it's important to have a womans perspective as well. I'm sure the other women here will appreciate your presants, and so will the men.

Congratulations on the Lightning! You have made a lot of people jelous! It's ok though, If we work hard enough we can get one too. I would guess that you have found that there is a section dedicated to the Lightning owners. There is a ton of tech advice as well as off topic discussion. It's some real good reading. I hope you enjoy that section but please don't forget that there are several other section where knowlegable friendly people go. You can learn a thing or two about Lightnings from people who don't even own one.

I think this whole site, all of the sections of it, is awsome. Hope to see you around here. It's a ton of fun. It can be real addictive though, so be careful.

So what is your first modifacation going to be? Or, is are you happy with the stock set up? I'll tell you modding is addictive too!

Have fun!
Tom

Woo Hoo!!! Another female!!!! There are about 5 of us here. I have a 2001 SuperCrew and I LOVE it!

If you're like me, and like to shop, there is a never ending list of mods for your truck. I already have close to $2000 in mods, and I've only had it since October.

Welcome to the group. This is probably the most PC group that I've ever had the pleasure of belonging to.

Although there was this one thread about "Why Beer is Better Than Women." I promptly replied with my own "Why a Cucumber is Better Than a Man."

It's all in fun though. Welcome!!

Good evening to all and thank you for the welcoming.
Plans are for a lower pulley and a chip. Then, a better exhaust with a bit of a humm to it. I raced it last Sat. and did 5 rounds. Pretty good for a girl and racing the 1st time. It was great!!!!!

Since you are into racing, there is a website you might be interested in (if you haven't already been there).

www.racerchicks.com

It doesn't have much about trucks but it's really cool anyway.

Welcome to the F-150 site. There are very nice people here.

HI!

Welcome to the site! Sorry I haven't come forward sooner - there's been a lot going on with me lately.
Yes, there's a handful of us ladies here but we all love our trucks as much as the guys do. You'll find the men here are great - supportive & encouraging & willing to help anytime you have a question.
Being the only dedicated F150 site I know of makes this site even more special! Steve works hard on it & it shows.
We have a chat room & there's someone there every nite so stop in ok? General Chat is the most used room but if you start showing up in the Lightning Room I'm sure you can get the other L guys to show too! Try it & see what happens!
Have a great time - glad you're here! BTW - that was a fantastic time slip, especially since it was your fist time out! You GO girl!

Thank you. What is everyone up to tonight? I'm planning to hit Starbucks and enjoy my evening.
