thinking about imprompto metting of dfw members,maybe in the mid cities areas,any comments or ideas as to where and when...nothing offical,just a meet and hand shake and a look at what we got,could be fun

Count me in. Depending on where everyone lives we could meet a Keller's Drive-In on Northwest Highway. Not only could we look at each others trucks and talk, but we could get some really good burgers. I'm willing to meet anywhere by the way, I live near Preston and LBJ. We should find a way to get a list of all the DFW members and drop them an e-mail, as everyone may not see this thread.

I'm guessing that yall didn't know there is already a Ford truck club here in Texas, or better put a chapter of a Ford truck club. Beacuse of things that happended a while back on this site its not really permitted to talk about it here but this link should help you.

maybe i can find a closed winn-dixe over in irving so we have a nice big parking lot to ourselfs...if not kellers will be good....i,m saying irving so our fort worth brother and sisters can join us. want to try for next saturday? about noon? i,ll find a good spot and post directions. gonna shot a couple of rounds of skeet with Rocks in the morning then we,ll head over and meet ya,ll there. P.S. it,s B.Y.O.T.(bring your own trucks). ive got some good jokes but always looking for more,so come prepared

well meet at the winn dixie in irving...the address is 1423 north beltline road,irving,75061. if i,m not mistaken it,s between I-30 and 183(north of I-30,south of 183). easy access from all points in the metro plex,so i figure it,s best. i,ll scout out the location wednesday and give more detailed directions. maybe there will be a chili,s or something we can take over to get out of the heat i,ll post tommorow

 

if we are still shooting for this weekend I won't be able to make it. I'm having surgery tommorow and probably won't be recovered by then. If not then I will be there.

 

scouted out the irving location...two problems...1)no shade...2) no beer... so lets do this we,ll meet at the kellers drive in on northwest highway and abrahms. directions; I-45(central expy.) to loop 12 (northwest highway) east about 2 miles after you go through the abrahms intersection look to your left and kellers is there. it,s a burger joint like back in the fifties with car hops but it,s got the coldest beer,(i,m not saying much about the burgers,approach with caution is about it) 12 noon this saturday. rocks said he,s coming ( you can check out his dual fan set up). look for yall there
