I was looking in an old finance book from a class i had and i found a worksheet about how much your vehicle cost you to operate a mile. of course its not right on the money because a couple questions are est. well here is how you find out

The cost of the truck w/tt&l ______ divided by the est. years you will have it. ________

find the annual cost of financing your truck______

insurance for the year _______

License, registration, taxes...__________

add them up to get your Total Fixed Cost is __________

Est. miles a year you drive____ divided by mpg______ multiplied by the average cost of gas and you get_________

cost of oil changes a year___________

Tires(if you go through them in a year)________

Maintance/Repairs____________

parking or tolls___________
add them up to get your Total Variable Cost______

TOTAL COST_________
divided by miles per year_______
equals cost per mile

mine came to $.29

 

$.29 cents for a mile! damn im bout to start taking the bus haha
