Thumbs up I Can't Believe It's Over

Just got my leter in the mail from Ford today with a settlement offer. All payments and state charges plus net trade in and any accessories not part of the loan agreement. Minus an offset for usage or mileage of $4800 and change.

I am very glad that they did this. After my vacation this whole mess will be over.

Ford did the right thing, I would have hated to trade it in only to have some unsuspecting person buy it off the only to get killed in it.

Congratulations!
Persistance pays off.
Your experiance has been a learning experiance for all of us.
We are Ford truck enthusiast but no one should have to go through the BS that you have gone through.
It sucks that we buy thier products and they return the act with a slap in the face. It's too bad that the higher ups at Ford can't learn to build a decent product and be more customer orientated.

Don't forget to tell us what you think of the 4.7. I would like to know what I'm up against if I line up with one!

I'm moving to your area. What dealership did you use, so I can avoid it?

idped, the dealerships down here are migrating towards being those monster multibrand dealerships. Mine is owned by autonation under the name autoway Ford. If you want a good one in this area it is a 45 minute drive to Gator Ford in Brandon. I've heard they are excellent. The are a truck Suv only dealership, no cars.

Thanks for the information. Trucks SUV's sounds like what I'm interested in.
