john entwhistle, the bass player for the WHO,was found dead today in his hotel room,one day before the start of thier world tour. i saw them at the cow palace in S.F. in 1970 at the age of fifteen...guess i,ll give the kids a hug tonight.

I doubt it was drugs. He was, after all, the Quiet One. They were about to start a tour. This just sucks.

Yes and my personal Favorite, Counting Crows, were going to open for them on their tour. All shows have been cancelled. Sad news indeed.
