Question

I'm really surprised they let you have that personalized plate as you only paid one fee and took up FOUR plate combinations.

I wanted that plate, only backwards and they said it wasn't available. Then I told them to switch the two words(nope) then I asked about reversing the letters and the reversing the words. (Grrrrrr!)

Now I know why!

I tried to get Habibi for plates, but someone had it already.
Just as well - someone might have mistook those plates for being Arab, then maybe my truck would get keyed.

So, it worked out good in the end

Hey Jenn...

I have seen them in black in a catalog. I'll see if I can find it and let you know where - have been tempted to change mine out!

Hi Jenn,

A little install tip if you decide to order:

The front oval comes with double sided tape already on it.
So all you need to do is mark your location, peel the tape off, and it sticks instantly. I was impressed with how strong of a bonf the tape made.

The rear...
Get a flat head screw driver, a small block of wood, and a rag or towel.

Place the towel around the wood, and gently place the head of the screwdriver tip under the oval.
You want to use the block of wood for leverage. The towel is there to protect your paint.

Gently pry an end of the oval off until you can get your hand on it to pull the rest off.
Take your time and do it nice and slow, and it will be easy as pie.

When I pulled mine off, none of the factory tape atuck to my original oval, it all stayed in the recessed spot where the oval goes. I felt it, it it was still sticky and gooey.
So.... I just inserted the new oval in the stock location, and it stuck to the old tape perfectly.

If your truck is relativly new (Which looking at the photo, it looks to be) you might get away with using the old tape also.

Good luck & post pics when you get them.

Regards
Habibi

Here's the website for these.

They look sweet but it doesn't look like he has Dark Shadow Grey and I don't have the 100.00 to blow on new emblems just yet.

They do look nice though....

Here's another tip.....if you heat it with a hair dryer first it softens up and makes removal easier. Or, now that it's warm out, leave it in the sun before you try to pry it off. You can also use fishing line instead of a screwdriver...no chance for scratching that way.
