I was planning on somehow rigging up Old Glory and the POW-MIA flags from the bed of my 2002 Supercab 4X4 for local driving around during the next few weeks, as July 4th comes closer. What has worked best for you guys with these trucks? I was thinking of somehow using the stake pockets. Just trawling for ideas.

 

I always thought of building one that just plugged into the 2" receiver would be easy to make and remove when needed, and definately strong enough. Plus, if it were to catch on something it wouldn't tear your box up.

 

Stake pockets are good with broom handles or long dowels. Drill 2 holes thru the dowels so you can use zip ties to hold the flags in place. Don't want bunched up flags during the most important parade of the year.
