Never heard of that. Did you make a kit or find one somewhere? Does it help the CPU run cooler?

Looks pretty cool. Somehow though I just help to picture the day when a tube leaks, water and electronics.... not a good combo. Have fun.

ive been keeping an eye on those new water cooling systems, but like someone said, the fact that water is running so close to electronics really scares teh crap outta me. i bet its great helping overclocked pc's stay cool! in your opinion, how leak-proof do you think it is? worth it?

I bought everything seperately from computer cooling sites.Overclockers is a great place to find info for water cooling. It was about $280 total. I use distilled water which isnt suposed to conduct electricty because it had no minerals in it(ya right). I have a Athlon XP 1900+ that is now overclocked to 1.7ghz(im taking baby steps to see what the system can handle. It stays around 40 degrees Centigrade at full load. Before with aircooling it was around 52 C constantly(not overclocked). When i added the water wetter it brought the temp down another 2 - 3 degrees.
Here are the finished pics i promised

This guy likes to hot rod his PC. No different than modifing your F-150. More power to you. Stock sucks.

I've spent some cash hot rodding my Sea-Doo. My freinds think I'm nuts. 0-60 in under 5 secs kicks butt on water riding a boat that weighs around 400lbs.

After my friends take it for a ride they say man that things insane.

Can I ride it again?

I did it because AMD CPU's run hot. And with overclocking air cooling just cant do it. No worries with leaks becasue there is a flourescent in it that will let me see if water is starting to leak out. Now i can be more poductive whith the programs i use since now it takes less time to render a 3d image or movie that i was working on. Nice L by the way.

additional question. How much does this additional cooling heat up the surrounding air?

I've got an AMD Athlon 1.2 NOT overclocked and the computer desk area is the hottest spot in the house.
