Thumbs up

Looks nice RamAir - what rims are they? Are they 16's also? I just got new tires (stock size) too - I'd never heard of them but all I can say is WOW they are awesome! Pulled out a STUCK '85 Silverado the other day, after an F250 diesel couldn't!
My only complaint is I can't spit mud up or break them loose now - the tires grab too much! LOL! Guess I'll have to start out in 2WD, bury it & then switch to 4WD & walk out! ROFL! Such problems, huh?

My awesome tires are..

....Buckshot Mudders by Maxxis! I LOVE them! They may not be as fancy or well known as other brands but they sure work as well! I'll get these from now on - even if I had a (shudder) car! I can't wait to see how well they handle the snow we get here! Wait - yes I can! I DON'T WANT TO EVER SEE SNOW AGAIN - EVER! LOL!

Well, I guess I had a brain cramp...just read my last post. I meant to say "just when I thought your truck could never look any better" and not what ever the h*ll I mumbled.

Did you have to trim any with those tires?? I want the 305/70/16 but they do not come in the BFG A/T and was considering maybe the 295/75/16.

How much low end or performance did you lose?

F-150 Ram Air, haven't seen ya on here in a while. Maybe cuz i'm usually in the HD forum. I dunno but anyway, those rims look great on your truck! HUGE improvement over the stockers. Now ya gotta update your sig. Anway, i was just wondering if you could still get me a lighted logo for cheap. I don't know if you remember, but last winter you said you knew a place where they were pretty reasonible priced, but iwanted to wait until after all the holidays. Wasn't sure if you could still hook me up. WEll, its lookin good, talk to ya later... time to get ready for the car show at Echelon mall on saturday.

mhussey,

Nah, Didn't have to trim a thing. They went right on. 305's will go on without any trimming also. The performance, I lost alittle. Still runs pretty strong for what's on there. I'll be doing gears soon, so I'm hoping to be back to normal or better.

Harley#356,

Hey Harley, what's up. Yea, no problem, when ever your ready. Same price. I just put two new ones on myself. The guy I get them from is going on vacation starting next Thurs., so if you want it before then, he has to know by Tues. This way he'll have the next day. Good Luck at Echelon. You going out to the Carlisle show at the end of the month?

F-150 Ram Air, what was the price again. I've got the email saved when you told me, but i can't remember off hand. I do wanna get one for the front, but i may just wait until he gets back from vacation cuz i'm really busy now gettin ready for the show, and i got alot to do next week, so its no big deal if i have to wait a few more weeks, and i'll have a few more weeks to scrounge up some change. LoL. Anyway, i wanted to go to carlisle, but i don't think i'll be able too, plus its a pretty far drive too. I might go to the english town show cuz the harley f150 display should be there also, and its a little closer. Are you gonna come to echelon? Its a pretty big show. 544 spots and they expect to fill them all. I think my odds are pretty good cuz one in 3 will get a trophy. You could register the day of the show if you wanted to enter, or you could just come to check out the cars. Be cool to meet up with another member from here though. I think silverlightning is coming to the show also. well talk to ya later. Thanks again
