I'm having a heck of a time locating a Hayden #3647 Electric Fan Controller. PepBoys carries them. Unfortunately, there's no PepBoys here and no one carries them in Alaska. Also, I can't find them anywhere on the web.
If someone could pick me up one, I will pay cost + shipping. Plus an extra $20.00 for your time. Thanks.

Okay, they don't have any in stock but they should by Friday. The part cost is $39.99.

 

Have you tried ordering it direct from Hayden? Their website seems to indicate that they will take orders. Here is their customer service page.

I called Hayden and they told me they don't sell to customers. They told me AK Napa stores is a distributor. But when I tried Napa, they could not look up the parts and that's with two different sale reps.

Yeah, I just called Napa and they said it crossed to a voltage regulator. I guess it could be that in a round about way. A fan switch could be construde as a voltage regulator.

 

Chipper- That's what they came up with. I even had the asst. manager help me out. He even showed me the a pic of the voltage reg. matching the part# in their books.

If NAPA lists a different part then what the company shows, won't the manager get on the horn and talk to them direct to order exactly what you want/need?

 

Tried that. I spent aleast 20 minutes (two seperate occassions) with them while they looked in their computer system and books. Both times when I spoke to them, they didn't know or never heard of Hayden. I'm not trying to flame them. But living in AK, we're limited on resources and getting certain products is a real hassle.
