Question I dunno

Do you suppose if we fixed it up with intelligence and wit, they would take it back?

Nevermind. They would just dummy it up and it would get shipped back down here again.

Haven't watched Monaco F1 yet, I'm waiting for the Speedvision replay of the race, I refuse to be ticked off by the idiots at ABC Sports (and YES, I still call it Speedvision not Speed Channel. If they wanted to rename it they should have picked The NASCAR Channel and been closer to the truth). Actually I started to watch it but those two screaming Brits sent me over the edge, I had to turn it off.

Last year my wife and I watched the ABC coverage of the Indy F1 just to hear the screw-ups by the clueless announcers, like refering to one of the McLarens as "the other car." I think that's why this year they just picked up someone else's broadcast, they realized they came off as ignorant fools.

I've been a Ferrari Fan since the days when they still used the #27 and #28 and, with the exception of certain "team orders", I still am.

BTW, is just me or did anyone else think that woman in first picture wasn't exactly "ugly", certainly not Coyote Ugly.

Getting back to the original photo of the woman...

A few brewskis, and she looks pretty good, heck, she doesnt look bad without any beers.

You guys must date supermodels or something...
Either that, or i'm just getting old.

Not even close. F1 is the most watched motor sport in the world. Depending on which statistics you believe, possibly the most watched sport of any kind.

F1 fans tend to be into the technology, have about average incomes, own more cars than drivers in the family, and spend more on luxury items.

F1 cars have similar output to Nascar but they have much smaller displacement. Electronics galore, with electronic shifting, locker control you name it. Some of the newer cars perform a complete shift in .07 of a second. It is estimated that racing the F1 at Monaco takes close to 20,000 shifts.

Nascar on the other hands is for the simple Americans who can swill beer while they watch their hero drive in circles for hours and then claim their car did well. Not that you can buy one.

Also any fans here for the Italian Scuderia??????

Formula One Fan here. Wake up at 7:30am, 2am whenever the race is to watch it.

C'mon any fans out here?

I'm up for them all. The only start I've missed in a few years is when I had to go to a funeral and even then I managed to tape it.

The Ferrari team has made leaps and bounds the last couple of years. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the racing isn't as tight because of it. Even Rubens does well in the new car at times.

Would love to see the Williams team get the car handling better, and the Mclaren team get some HP back in the ride. JPMs qualifying at Monaco proved he and the car have the potential. As for DCs launch, he must have been getting tips from Mika aka the Holeshot king.

I would like to see more teams in the running in F1 but it's better than the IROC type rules Nascar is turning to.

IMO the best head to head racing in years has been Mika and MS duking it out when the cars were on fairly equal turf. Those two could pressure each other like nothing I have seen.

I too manage to catch most of the F1 races. I think it could be the best racing around if there were more competitive teams. I have been watching since Schumacher's days with Beneton. For whatever it is worth, I would like to see the rule that all teams must field two cars be dropped. That way the lesser funded teams could concentrate on one car, it would also open the door for someone new to enter the sport at a more reasonable cost.

We in America like to watch our race cars go in circles and in straight lines. Not just NASCAR and NHRA, but all the little strips and tracks that dot this country. Look around, they're all over. Road courses are OK, but just not what the average guy is into. Its hard for us to identify with F1. Unrestricted NASCARs are (or could be) almost as fast on ovals, and top fuelers are definately the fastest. On the other hand, Europeans and South Americans find it difficult to identify with our type of racing because of the crap they drive daily. Sure my Taurus (if I had one) is only remotely related to Mark Martin's car, but I can identify with the brand when he's racing. I bet the parking lot at an F1 race isn't bumber to bumber Ferraris (sp)! Also, I could take that Taurus and go bracket racing if I want to, like the 'L' guys.
But what's most important, I don't think that the girl is THAT bad. I wonder if she can cook? She should loose the tattoo.
