O/T Geo Metro Performance Parts???

My friend just bought a 1989 Geo Metro 2 door. It's a 1.0 litre with 54hp and 55tq. Do they make any performance parts for them. We already took the muffler off and noticed some top end power gain. Seriously though, this thing is awsome for $100. We want it to compete with the Civics.

Yeah....... A parachute, a C-130, and a huge set of *****. The parachute is optional.

Why? Why not? I mean, we bought the car for $100. Radio, A/C, clutch, everything is good. We bought it just for fun.

best bang for the buck? drop in a supercharged 502! cut through the hood to fit it, and youll have an 8 second POS.

Thumbs up

i've had great success with a dry nitrous kit on rental cars and loaners like that. a 50-75 shot, with a simple hose laying in the air box, will make those light buckets, downright scary

I know, it's a great deal for 100 dollars. I mean it looks ugly as hell, but it runs, and has a radio so it's all good. I'm thinking about putting a NOS dry 35 shot on it, it'll probably kill the motor but oh well, then we're out $100....

That's a bada$$ geo...your's looks 10 times better than ours. But I think we got you beat, we just went to Discount Auto and bought a SiR badge and put it on the tailgate....you can't hang with that!

i would buy a NX kit for a lightning and make a few custom parts for it to fit on the geo...then when u kill the motor...swap it over to the L....make sure you put the NOS stickers on there(adds 10hp)

Man, you can definitely have fun with that thing. Even though it only has 50hp you should still be able to cut some wicked reverse donuts and practice your J-turn skills.

Just don't push it in the river when you're done with it. My friend did that after we were done with a "throw-away" mustang lx. It turned up three months later when the Mississippi fell. He had to pay for the car to be removed and all kinds of fines.

To be back in high school....
