Just how fast is the new Harley Davidson V-Rod? Looks great. I believe it has around 115 hp and 78 ft/lbs of tq. Just curious if anyone has the 1/4 mile times on this bike yet? Thinking about getting one.

 

i saw a comparison in cycleworld between the vrod and the warrior, vtx1800 honda, and the kawasaki offering, the v-rod had the most hp and was the fastest, in the mid 11's

 

Around these parts, a V-rod is getting a 4K to 5K price OVER sticker I bought a house instead

and tops out around 135. From the tests I have read, it will give my 90 ZX750R ninja a run for it's money in the 1/4, but after that...it's seeya. I just wish they gave it more topend.

 

i have been rideing differant bikes for 30 plus years.by far my v rod has been the best all around bike ive had.rides and handles like you wouldnt believe and has plenty of power.its a bike you just want to ride till you wear your self out.buy it ,you want regret it. paid retail for mine.
