Anyone have an idea as to value on a 90 Saleen stang?

I went to check out a 90 Saleen hatchback black on black, and really loved it! It is a normally apirated hatchback with 90k miles never modded or painted on. The guy is asking $14 which I think may be a fair price, but these cars do not come around much used....black on black that is. Any of you guys know much about them, and is this a fair price?

Hey:

Mileage is very important on these cars. Anything over 70K is considered excessive.

14K seems a little high to me.

Check out www.performanceautosport.com They have a lot of Saleens there and you can use it for comparative high pricing..

I had two 89 Saleens (#5 and #486). #486 was a really nice, stock car and it went for 11,500.

My .02

PS Check out how it drives. The short hard Saleen springs really take their toll on these cars over time.

Thanks for the reply and website! They have great taste in autos! The one you sold for $11,500 how many miles did you have on it?

Hey bro,

I was visiting the corral website yesterday and saw a few nice cars in their 4 sale section.

These are a few classified ads that you might be interested to see.

1987 SALEEN $9,000

1989 SALEEN $15,000
