A Ford Went Up In Flames Today!!!

To anyone who might be interested,
today I was at work and saw a fellow coworkers 94' Lincoln Town Car burning to the ground! The car had been unattended for 4-5 hours in the parking lot. No one was injured or around the vehicle when it started. I had parked about 50 ft. away from this car and had just left to pick up something for lunch when this event happened. I pasted by the car on my way and when I returned (about 15 min. later) two cars were blazing!
Fire spread from Lincoln to the my plant managers brand new Chevy Avalanche because it was parked just in front about 2 ft. away! Fire caused gas tank to explode and that was all she wrote! Four other vehicles were damaged in this freak accident? woops!
The preliminary findings from fire marshall said it appears fire started from electric fan motor! Was there a recall or TSB on 91-94 Ford cars with a potential fire hazard with defective electric fans? Does anyone no anything about that? Just curious?

This concerns me about how such a catastrophic failure could happen on supposedly a quality built Ford Product?

I'm guessing all that was left of the Avalanche was a big puddle of molten plastic?

I rewired our square baler once and had the wire loom catch on fire that was fun. anyway Avs aren't just fugly they are BFUGLY. Everytime one passes me I cant believe alll that plastic--I wonder how bad it will sun fade, that is a lot of black that will turn white.

Good thing the avalanche went with it. At least there is one less ugly thing to worry about on the roads. Now if only we could get rid of a few Azteks.

Did the Avalanche look better after it was burned? Anything would be an improvement!
