Angry Expedition: Instrument Back Lights

last night i noticed on my dash where the fuel gauge is that the lighting behind that gauge is about about 50% compared to the rest of the instruments. anyone else had this problem, or is there an easy fix for this? thanks.

Not sure how similar the expy dash is compared to the dash in my '97 F-150, but I had about three of the lights go bad behind the instrument cluster. Replacing the bulbs involves taking a lot of the dash apart on the drivers side to get at the instrument cluster. I pulled it out and replaced all of the bulbs at once with extended life bulbs and reassmebled it all back together again, good as new. It wasn't difficult, but there are a few tricks. Here's the link that helped me out (along with my Haynes manual):
