everyone please read....

ive been playing with the idea of selling my truck but im really not sure how much would be a good price to ask for it. i was thinking maybe putting it in auto trader and asking for 5500 O.B.O. and mention that the price is negotiable and no reasonable offer will be turned down. what do you guys think i should ask for it? its an 89 f-150 2wd reg cab with a 302 and a 5 speed, straight pipes (sounds mean), a couple of mods (im planing on taking all the engine mods off before selling), 3" body lift, 33" tires, 3.73 gears, and a couple of other things. the body is in great shape, theres a little paint crack on the driver's door, but no big deal. the truck was repainted by teh previous owner back in 95 and the paint looks great (pics in sig). how much do you think its worth? by the way, im still not sure if im selling, but im only asking in case i decide to. thanks!

i'm not sure what it would be worth, but 5500 sounds good. When you put it up there for sale, i wouldn't mention that you had mods on it. That might scare some people away (unless you're going to sell it with the mods).

well, I paid 4k for mine when I bought it. It is 88 and 4wd. So in the diffrence in location I would not be scared to ask 5500. Let me know about the mods when you decide.

Sounds about right to me...maybe a little lower would get you more response. List it for $5500 or B.O. If you dont get any calls maybe drop it to 4,950 or something like that. Good luck.

$5500 OBO sounds good, I think you have a beautiful truck and I don't see why it wouldn't bring that.
