Anybody ever caught truck vandals?
Anybody ever caught truck vandals?
Just curious. In light of several other threads from people getting their truck (or car) keyed, spray-painted or otherwise vandalized, has anyone ever caught the a$$holes in the act or been able to prove who did it and retaliate, or get the authorities to go after them?
Let's hear your story.

In light of this post I had someone break into my car for my stereo... 4 to be exact. My brother and I caught them... we had to run after them and that pissed me off more than anything. I literally beat them with a aluminum b-ball bat. After all was said and done the cops came arrested them and us!!! Well most had to go to the hospital by ambulance. ASSUALT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON WITH INTENT TO KILL is what they cherged us with. If I wanted to kill them I had the perfect oppturnity. Not only that but the bastards sued us. 1.5 years of court we finally had all charges dropped but it cost us 9000 dollars for the lawyer. Next time someone wants my stuff I will toss them the keys.
Most Hippies are too dumb to realize that by driving a diesel like Swoffy, you're polluting less than a gasoline equivilant. I've got a sign that I put in my window every time I park my truck. It has a picture of a revolver pointed toward you and it says "Tresspassors will be shot. Survivors will be prosecuted."

One time when visiting a buddy at Florida State up in Tallahassee I must have left my door unlocked (or maybe my buddy left the passenger door unlocked) but we came back from a bar to find two girls making out inside my truck....Believe it or not they were pretty good looking too. I don't know if they qualified as "vandals" but we certainly "caught them in the act"....hehehehe.
Probably should have had the interior sanitized, as we don't know what was going on before we arrived on the scene...

actually twice, once in fla. my dog woke me up. figured he had to go. looked out the window and noticed someone rooting around my '68 mustang. funny how fast someone can run when a 100lb pitbull comes out the door.
second time was in wis. i live on the second floor of an apartment complex. my window is about 30 yards from the parking lot. looked out and seen someone getting ready to lift the cover off of my bike. i removed the screen from the window then drew back my bow and arrow then i yelled, hey. i've never seen anyone looked so shocked and then move that fast before. never came back so i guess it was effective.

Tresspassors Will Be Slapped
Diesels Are Nasty Polluters

1) Diesels are obnoxious in the amounts of particulate matter they put out... far more than gasoline engines, and a leading cause of respiratory ailments. See London health statistics where a very high percentage of taxis, buses, trucks, private autos, and commuter trains are all diesel driven.
2) Diesel fuel contains a high percentage of sulphur, as opposed to gasoline which has virtually none. Tail pipe emissions of diesels include SO2 and SO3, which react to create photochemical smog and atmospheric sulphuric acid, which has caused problems ranging from stunted forest growth to the deterioration of ancient statuary and buildings.
3) Diesels put out copious amounts of nitrides of oxygen, NO2 and NO3. They are created because of the high pressures and cylinder head temperatures of diesels. These compounds are the primary players in the formation of ground level ozone. While drivers throughout the country are being forced by the EPA to drive 55 to control NOx emisssions, diesels continue to spew unabated.
No, diesels have only two things going for them. They are more efficient because of higher opertaing temps, and they have mor torque because of higher pressures.
The only reason that diesels have been left alone to date is that they comprise a relatively small percentage of total vehicles. Already the trucking industry is screaming about increased costs due to EPA mandated reductions of sulphur content in diesel fuel while California's CARB is busy reviewing particulate emission standards. At present, there is no solution for the NOx problem.

After reading your post I went outside, fired up both of my DIESELS and let them run for hours unabated spewing noxious nasties every where and had a fan set up blowing it toward Texas. Breathe deep my friend and clear that head of the BS you read.
