I have a confession: It's about Dodge
I own a 1997 Ford 150 XLT 4x4.
I've tricked it out with a few modifications that make it a very nice machine.
I used to wash it every week and have it detailed twice a year.
Now I'm down to washing it whenever I get time and detailed once a year.
I have one more payment on it and then I no longer share it with the bank!
BUT.....
I must confess the Dodge Ram commercials are pretty cool. I feel like I want to hang out with the Mayor of Truck City, drive fast with a shiny Black Dodge, and listen to Aerosmith music.
Someone help me before I make a mistake.
I feel like I'm going to sin.

Your choice dude. I would probably trade it in on a new Ford F150 if you are getting tired of yours. Actually I would sell the truck and buy a Mustang GT Vert.
I have to admit, the new dodge sport editions look tight with the 20in wheels and body package. Still, I wouldnt want to be driving a goat.

(and I don't think you should)
- at least wait until the '03 models start hitting. Dodge is supposedly introducing a new Ram - has the Viper V10 in it, turning out 500HP and 500Ft/lbs in a standard cap shortbed Ram (on 24" rims, no less). There was a writeup on it in Truckin' (either this month or last month).

I dunno. I don't think I could go from driving so high off the road to driving a car.
On vacation last year I rented a car. I kept asking my girlfriend, "How do ya'll drive like this? You can't see anything and it's like I'm crawling on the ground!"
LOL!
I did a pro/con list for getting any new vehicle.
Pro:
* New vehicle without so many little problems nickel and diming me to death.
* Newer options
Con:
* New vehicle with new car payment.
I think the con's outweight the Pro's.
I'm sticking with my Ford for another couple of years!

Think about this...Do you really want to be seen in a Ram? Those things are butt-ugly! Take a good lookat the 'big rig' nose on that thing. Study it carefully from different angles and you'll see what I meen. It's way-overdone and will look very 'old' in a year or two. If you really want one, your friendly Dodge dealer will probably cut you a pretty good deal on one, cause there's plenty of un-sold Rams sitting on their lots. While you're at it, have the salesman introduce you to the service manager because you will probably see a lot of him.
Don't let a cool TV ad sway you to the dark side, I'd wait and get a new F150.

I own 2 trucks a Ford and a Dodge (actually the bank still owns them both). The Dodge Dakota is nice, and it's pretty fast. The Ford is still my favorite though. The Ford with 110K doesn't leak a drop. The dodge with 70K has an intake oil leak.
