Dennis...

You are most idiotic person on this board. I
along with many others have suffered through
reading you dribble many times. Would you
please do me a favor and not post on any
thread I start. I beg you, I have heard
your slaughterhouse story more than once. I
don't have the wrong idea about you. I have
exactly the right idea about you. I should
stop right now, but you know what...I won't.

Don't pretend you know ANY specifics about
my life just because you read a few of my
posts. For you stupid *** information, I
have always kept my dog in a pen and out of
other peoples yards. I was in the process of
moving into another house when my dog was
killed. She ran out in the road while I was
in the process of building a new pen. God,
your arrogance is amazing. You call me an
idiot and proceed to tell me there is a
special place in hell for me? You will be
right there with me you retard because the
last time I checked Christians did not
verbally berate anyone for having a different
opinion than themselves. Unintelligent and
cruel. I just love how you have figured out
all my traits and personality characteristics
from a few posts. You truly are amazing you
lame, narrow-minded, oversimplistic moron

Duh..... Get a dog! Cats are ok, some are nasty, most are quiet and keep to themselves. I don't have one, but there are a few hanging out here and there.
Harming one in any way is not the thing to do. Get or borrow a nice dog, the cats will find somewhere else to hang out.

Antifreeze when ingested, is like being eaten alive from the inside out, and is a very cruel death lasting from 12 to 48 hours. I hope you never have to watch a loved one die of any desease, because it isn't pretty. Antifreeze poisoning is peticularly nasty because it desolves the tissues, and they bleed to death inside. It is also very painful. It would actually be better to trap and uethanise them, but I am not suggesting that. Somebody loves these animals even if you don't. (and even if the owners don't love them enough to take care of them properly) Please do not ever do something like that again.

*Now on to better things*
Cats and most other pesky uncontained animals hate amonia. Put some on cottonballs and place wherever you don't want the pests.
Cats in peticular hate the feel of tape or tinfoil. You could place some wide tape sticky side up on a surface, and once the cat gets on that surface, it won't want to again. The same with tinfoil, but it won't be as fun to watch. For a car, I would first place a fuzzy blanket on the hood, so the animal won't further scratch the car in it's haste to get off.
As far as the damage that has already been done, I would take pics of the animal on the car, and get estimates for correcting the finish. Submit to small claims court.

Good luck.

Yes, and I hate getting into crap like ...

this too. That's the reason I asked in my very first post
for any sensitive animal lovers to not respond. And yes
I hate responding to some moron who feels the need to
argue. I shouldn't have said what I did in response to
his idiotic ramblings, but I was just caught up. I don't
think I've ever addressed anyone on this site in that
manner. I apologize to everyone for my language. When
you argue with a moron, you just end up looking like one
too. I shouldn't have stooped to his level.

Dan b you are exactly right. I have watched
Dennis argue with countless pointless posts. I guess I'd
just had enough of it.

Don't apologize, 1) you were called a stupid idiot, 2) it was implied that you were a child and wife abuser, 3) you were also called unintelligent and cruel, 4) and it was also suggested that you should be in jail. I think the hell reference was to the bow-hunters that leave an animal to wail. There's a difference between exploding at someone because you are a hothead and not being a girly man by fighting back when someone insults you blatantly and repeatedly. So no apologies necessary on your part. I think the person that ignored the obvious warning in your first post and then proceeded to level derogatory comments owes the apology.

Just thought I'd note that Andthensometoo's post (although he also ignored the warning in the first post) at least conveyed his thoughts on the subject in a reasonable fashion. Heck, maybe you didnt know the harm anti-freeze does, no reason to call you an idiot.

If you cannot resolve the issue with your neighbor or animal control authority, use a live animal trap to trap the cat. These devices are very effective.

No need to be cruel to the cat. Load the cat and cage in your truck and take the cat to the Humane Society or release it in another area.

Problem solved with no inhumane treatment to the animal = win / win.

cpadpl,

Just for your information, AndThenSomeToo would be a she, not a he... , might also explain the reasonableness (is that a word?).

On a lighter note.....

How do you drown a pet rock???????

Weight down with a couple of cats and throw it in a well.....ba ba bump.

Thank you I will be here all night.

On a serious note you really shouldn't harm the animal as it really doesn't know any better. I would take legal action against the owner or simply catch it and re-locate it. I am not judging anybody I just don't think you should harm an animal unless you have to. I mean they are only being animals and they don't know they are pissing you off. It is their owner who is at fault, if anything make their lives miserable not the animals.

Better idea, catch your neighbor and re-locate them.

Have you tried hooking up a sprinker to a motion sensor. Cats hate water and if he tripped a sensor that set off sprinkers I can't believe he would keep coming back.

God I must be getting soft in my old age......I hate friggen cats.

Just remember someone could report you to the authorities for intentionally attempting to poison animals. It is against the law and is a crime with legal ramifications. Animal Cruelty is considered a felony in many states and antifreeze poisoning is by far stepping over the line. I don't care how much you hate cats, it ain't right.

A recent case in my area had a guy intentionally place antifreeze out because he thought the neighbors black lab wandered too much and barked too much. He is now serving a two year prison sentence for animal cruelty.

You've said your piece trapper - now I've said mine.

like i said before try the cayanne pepper , it's cheap , it wont hurt your truck or the cat ... or , I also have a blow gun about 3 feet long that is amazingly accurate , it came with darts and blunt stinger pellet doo-dads that are made just for this .. and you can get a bit of pay back while you teach the cat not to play on the big boys toys .

Trapper, I call them as I see them. You have broken the law and have admitted it here. That's not too bright, if you ask me. Cats and dogs are not smarter than most people. I have no problems with stray cats and dogs because I'm smarter than they are and I know how to deal with them legally and humanely while still keeping the peace in my neighborhood. It ain't a hard thing to do. It doesn't take much effort to do things the right way.

All studies have shown that people who are habitually cruel to animals are also child and wife abusers. Not all, but a significant number are. Your dog died because it was not under your control. If you had it on a leash and had it teathered to a secure post, it would still be alive. In areas with leash laws, if the dog is not under your control, you are breaking the law and are responsible. Your dog died because you didn't have control over it so it was your fault. I can't see how you can not take responsibility for it.

I don't see where I said anything that was false.

All I have is contempt for people who practice cruelty to animals. If people like you keep posting about being cruel to animals, I'll keep posting responses. You don't want me to respond in this way, don't post about being cruel to animals!
