I have an 84 pu with a v8. It back fired through the carb really hard and every since it runs really rough.The guy at the local shop said it was the carb,so i bought a new one. No luck there so I did a complete tune up. still no fix.Could it be that the timing has jumped a couple gears and still starts fine? Could it be that the cat blew out and is restricting exhaust flow? I give up,any suggestions will be appreciated.
