I guess I'm not as computer-savy as a lot of you guys and need some advise. Did I miss something obvious here or is there no tutorial to show me how to use this web site? I don't even see a spell-check and boy do I need one, cause my fingers don't always hit the right keys! How do you insert things? I see these buttons above, but got no idea how to use them. Can I go back and change my profile to have my truck description show up each time? This doesn't seem to work like WORD, (one of the few programs that I'm familiar with).

HELP...HELP!

 

i will guide you in changing your profile. right now follow these steps:

1) scroll up and twards the top of the screen you will see 7 horizontal buttons. one will say "user cp"
2) click that button
3)then you will see another 7 places to click underneath the 7 i just talked about. click where it says "edit profile"
4)now scroll down and change what you want.
5)the thing that shows the stats of your truck everytime you post is called you signiture.
6) in that area write your stats
7) now every time you post right above where it says submit reply or whatever there should be a place to put a "check"
8)it should say "show signature"
9)check this box and then post and your signiture will appear under your post
10) there is a testing section or forum that you can practice and learn how to do this stuff.

Thanks guys. I did what you both said and it worked! Now I don't feel quite so inept. But...Is there a spell check on this thing?

 

Spell checkers cost money. I think some charge by how much they are used. If you were the webmaster here is what would be on your mind.

1) 20,000+ members

2) They are truck drivers, not exactly what you call literary geniuses.

 

OK Raoul...Maybe then all the more reason for a spell checker.

As far as spell checking - just forward all your posts to Raoul to let him correct them & he'll send them back all fixed! I don't think he charges much - I hear Raoul works for next to nothing in fact! Oh wait - that would be me in my new job - Raoul does this for free! ROFL! Gotcha Raoul! FINALLY!
