RP, with all due respect, why the fuss now? I mean, there have been so many pictures posted here that were owned by Ford or some aftermarket company and I've never heard any of the moderators object to them. Just think about all the pics that have been posted of the 2005 King Ranch or the 2006 Lincoln luxury truck. Maybe they eventually became part of a press release package or something, I am just pointing out that this seems to be the first time that any moderator protest images being posted for copy right reasons. No offense intended, just an observation.

EDIT: One more thing, how about all of those "insert the caption" pictures. I am sure someone owns the rights to thse pics too.

 

I didn't see any notes about copy written images on my last post, yet- evidence of its existense has been completely removed....

I think you'll find that if the pic you post has "www.someone.com" for example printed on it, then they hold copyright and you may not repost it without permission.
Or something like that.

Doesn't that copyright bs only come into play if you try to pass of the pics as your own, or make a profit by using them for advertisement, etc...? I would think showing thewebsite (When available) would only increase traffic to thier websites...
