Justice would be they drown her and revive her for every kid she killed. Then hang her.

Easy there Swofford, you ain't got no monopoly on executions there in Texas. I do think she's nuts though. Tough call. A part of me says juice her, the other says she's nuts because she never 'hid' the crime. She admitted it. lol.

It's so sad

As a woman I can't understand how she could do this or how ANY woman can hurt their child. Heck - I can't even kill a spider - seriously!
As a Catholic I can't condone the death penalty, no matter how heinous the crime. I too think she's severely disturbed. I also wonder then why drunk drivers who kill or hit & run drivers aren't given the death penalty. It would seem that when anyone takes a life they should lose theirs. Yet, we give a comaparative slap on the wrist to these other killers & they have no valid defense either.
I don 't know what is right anymore. After 9/11 I am trying to practice a more tolerant & understanding way of looking at life & others but a case like this pushes me to the limits. I just hope that whatever the outcome is, justice is served. Nothing will bring those 5 precious angels back. No matter what is done to their mother, they will never feel justice or have their day in court. Looks like nobody wins this one.

I can't understand her husband. I'm sorry, but if that was me and she killed my five children, she would have not left that house under her own power. I'd be the one on trial.

I think they only charged her with 3, so if she got off somehow They could still charge her with the other 2 in the future. I'm not sure though

What kind of sane person could kill anyone, not just a child? I don't particularly agree with the death penalty, either, but I do believe in punishment, and I will stand behind however the great state of Texas decides to go. This is sad, and like CL said, no one wins.

I'm for the death penalty. I'm with Dennis on this one. I think that they should put her in the chair and drown her again and again. No matter if she admitts to the crime or not, you can't be sane to kill your own kids. NO WAY NO HOW. I'm so glad that this happened it Texas. We will put anyone to the chair doesn't matter your age or sanity. Save my taxes and put her to the chair. Thanks for letting me vent. Dageon

I am really tired of people saying they didn't know right from wrong at the time that they killed some one.
I believe self defense is the only reason to kill.
Yes, she was nuts, and YES she was responsable and should be held accountable for killing her children. If that means the death penalty, so be it.
Odd how every one knew she was wack, especially her husband who said she had postpartum depression after the second kid. Even though I think postpartum depression is BS, if he knew having kids bothered her, why did he keep knocking her up? I think his admittion that he knew she was nuts, and that the kids 'caused' it, he should he held accountable too. for 1) leaving her alone with them, and 2) making her have more of them.

Postpartum depression is for REAL. And I am not of the 'liberal' mindset. I have witnessed a family member go from suicidal to wanting to get rid of her baby. However, I don't think that insanity is a valid defense. Her husband is just as guilty since he was advised on not having any more kids with her. Guess he didn't like wearing a condom, or something. Messed up situation, to say the least.
