9/11/01 - 6th month Anniversary on Monday
I just wanted to remind you that Monday is the 6 month Anniversary of the attack on our country. I find it hard to believe it was that long ago - it feels like yesterday to me.
I will be lighting 3 candles - red, white & blue in rememberance of all those people still buried in the rubble at the WTC & the people still working tirelessly & selflessly to recover bodies. I also will remember those who died in the Pentagon & Shanksville, PA - we tend to focus more on NYC since there were so many more victims there. It's important to remember they weren't the only victims though.
Lastly, I'll be remembering the brave military - those who have made the ultimate sacrifice & those still in danger, fighting to capture the animals responsible for this tragedy. May ALL the military be safe, not just our own troops. And, may God Bless them & bring them all home safely while protecting the rest of us from more heinous acts like we saw on 9/11/01.
