there are sooooo many things you can do to increase HP. It sounds like you are just starting to get into to cars, am I right? there are many mustang forums where your question may be answered such as Corral.net
http://www.corral.net/forums/
if i had an 88 GT and wanted extra HP the first thing I would do is get the top of the line supercharger and everything to go with it. There are many brands and types too chose from but I would suggest Vortech or Paxton. Then get the upgraded fuel system. Start out with a low boost application such as 6lbs. When your ready for more, beef up the bootom end with new pistons, rods, crank, and a few other things. Then add some boost. Maybe 10lbs. Just keep progressing untill you get it where u want.

any other questions you have just ask. you will probalby get a better response over at corral though.

later
joe

things a lot of people do that are fairly easy are get new pulleys, a new exhaust system, intake system, maybe a chip, new gears.

most of those are fairly simple and inexpensive (except for new diff.gears).

cheap stuff-remove the air silencer box in the fender/k&n filter/advance the timing..you can go as far as 19* btdc on 93 octane...AS LONG AS THER IS NO PING-this will not make it a bracket racer...but depending on your budget every little bit helps
