Yeah I just heard, very sad indeed...
Appearantly his car was blown by high winds or he just lost control and his car went into the other lane where the other driver Bill Rimmers Jr. was and Grebeck's car was hit on the driver's side... RIP Steve, hopefully we can all go doing something we love; but some time, somewhere, in the very distant future.

We also lost Grand American series driver Jeff Clinton over the weekend.
I'm always impressed by the resillience of racers everywhere, to go back out on the track and perform in a sport that requires complete concentration after something like this happens is just amazing.

I live in Australia and have been following Steve's tremendously successful racing career, which has now been cut short severly. For me, this is one of the saddest racing news I have ever heard. I don't believe Steve will ever be forgotten for setting the fastest racing times and his love and dedication for the sport. As I am a regular visitor here, it was great to see him mentioned and thought of.
Steve you will be sadly missed. You set racing standards both on and off the track, sorry you had to leave so soon, doing what you loved best. RIP
