Advice On New Truck

I'm gonna be getting a New Truck Soon (Hopefully)

A local lot is selling the Reg Cab 4.2 with a 5 speed and 60/40 split bench and the "Sport" Package for $13,495.00

Basically the Exact same truck I had before but a 02 model.

Now I've seen that the 4.6 engine is around $800 more than the 4.2.

What chances do I have of getting that truck with a 4.6 for less than $15,000.00 ? Less than $17,000.00?

I'm eligible for X-plan too.

If you can get X-plan like I did, step up to the 5.4

same truck with a 4.6 should be just over 15,000. figuring you lose the 500 disc for v6 and the motor only goe for about 600.
i looked at one last year that was 4.6 sport and it was just under 17,000 with no cash back. that was on x plan.

The differance between the V6 and a V8 should only be $15-30 per month even with the automatic. you will get that money back when you trade it in.
