Crime does NOT pay

True story. This morning I woke up to find that a house down the street from me is swarming with cops. They're all dressed in white coveralls, wearing little booties and respirators. They are in the process of removing vast quantities of cannabis sativa ( pot ) from the house, which evidently has been used to cultivate and grow a very large quantity of the green stuff.
This house is known biker house. Don't get me wrong, I live in a very nice neighborhood, but it is exactly the type of place where activities of this type would be least expected.
For the past few days, my wife has been concerned that a skunk has inhabited our street. What a powerful smell!!
So, the pile of ganja is pretty huge in the front yard of this place and I wander over to take a peek. There are dozens of very large plants being removed from the house and piled up in the lawn.
Along comes a kid, probably 17 or 18 on his way home from school. We start chatting and we are both impressed with the goings on at this house. He says that he would like to run over and grab a plant. I say, " yeah...right!"
I head back home to check on my kids and notice a commotion over at the dope house. It is the kid. He has actually run into the yard, grabbed a 4 foot plant full of buds, right in front of about 6 narcotics officers. He proceeds to run.
Good luck buddy! The cops, momentarily frozen in disbelief by what they have just witnessed, give chase. At the end of my driveway, the chase ends. The kid is caught. he is placed in handcuffs and led to a police car.
Ironically, his mom appears as she is delivering papers ( ? ). She observes her son being read his rights and driven away to jail, then proceeds to continue her route!!!!!!!
A very strange day in the neighborhood! That kid is definitely from the shallow end of the gene pool!!!!!!

Growing pot inside the house is a big problem for landlords, especially if the house has wooden floors over a dirt foundation. Renters have been ripping out the floors and growing the plants in the dirt. Cost one landlord I know $40,000 to have the house repaired.

The kid had *****! Bet the thought he could outrun the cops. LOL. If I was a cop, I'd say let him have it.

Post Growing cannabis

Cases like this one happens here a lot.
They catch a few every now and then. But that is only a small percentage.
It is a lucrative business. Many $$$$ goes around.

5 years back i was working in the greenhouse and all of a sudden, I noticed the police intervention team arriving at my neighbours house.
They tear everything down.He had plants on the attic of his house and in a small barn next to his business.
Originally, he was growing roses but business was bad and rumour goes he was bankrupt.
He had probably harvested cannabis 2 or 3 times before he was busted. (Worth $300,000/400,000)
Never heared anything about him going to jail.
The business was sold and he moved elsewhere.

A couple of months later I heared, he had rented a business again and was caught again.

You probably have to pay a fine per plant if you are caught but the fine is just peanuts compared to what you can earn with growing this stuff.

My country has become way too liberal.
We need to punish these guys much harder.

We even let go drugsrunners (the swallowers) who carry 1 Kg of drugs cause we haven,t got prisoncells enough.
Well f.ck that, throw 10 of them in 1 prisoncell who cares, but that is not allowed here. Only 1 criminal in 1 cell.

Also shootings and killings on the street are increasing.
We need more police on the street and not just for writing speeding tickets

It is going downhill here in Holland, that is for sure.

I am also ashamed that our country is used to export XTC to the USA.
Hot right now is the dutch DJ case who probably took many xtc pills with him. He is on trial in the USA right now.

Wierd day in the hood hey Mashie?

Sounds like a scene straight out of that movie "The Burbs"

Ironically, his mom appears as she is delivering papers ( ? ). She observes her son being read his rights and driven away to jail, then proceeds to continue her route!!!!!!!

Judging by her reaction It's easy to see where the Kid gets it.
This only serves to further reinforce the gene pool theory, LOL!

I used to work at a Bob Evans and the managers used to go back in the stock room and get high, lol

There's probably more drugs in the middle and upper class neighborhoods that there is in the hood. Just because people in the suburbs can afford it. If anyone ever saw the movie Traffic..that took place here in Cincinnati. That's exactly how it is too. You have the rich people that live outside the city that drive down here to a place called Over the Rhine, buy drugs, and take them back home. It's a big problem.
In high school me and some friends went to a party in Indian Hill (the wealthiest place here, thats also the other place where Traffic took place) and the kids there were using coke and heroine and stuff. We we're like WTF??!!

Hey, I was a kid once, weren't you? Hell, can't you see it? He'll go to court and everybody including the judge will be on the floor laughing their butts off. Give the kid a break! He doesn't need that. It could scar him for life!

I was hoping somebody would be the straight man to my post. Funny how it turned out to be you!

Awww, you're just jealous about my superior argument in the oil debate. Come on Frank. Just admit it. I know you can do it.

Our definitions of "superior" must differ.
