Well all, my pusuit of a new Ford truck is being put on hold for some time. My family has had some bad luck lately and I am going to have to keep my Dakota. Thankfully all in the family are healthy but finances have gotten real tight lately. But hey everything happens for a reason and things will turn around eventually. Maybe the new 500hp L will be out by then. I will still be hanging around here because you all are a kick in the pants(in a good way). Until next time,

Sorry to hear about the financial problems - you're not alone there if that helps any. All of us have had some kind of problem or another. Hang in there & I am sure things will turn around soon. Till then, please stick around & learn as much as you can - the members here really know their trucks - L's or not!
I'll keep you & your family in my prayers - it's going to be okay - just watch!

 

Thanks scott and cowlady(sorry I don't yet know your real name)for the words of encouragement, they help greatly. I realize I sound like a whiner its just that at times everything can be over whelming. I know that there are people even on these boards that are going through tougher times than I so I hope all of you and everyone else included the best of everything and to just remember to keep your head up and smile.

.......We Are Family! Don't think you sounded like a whiner - you did what all of us have done or will do & that is share a difficult time in your life. That's what we are here for so don't worry ok? If we can help we will & sometimes just getting something off your chest is all you need to face things w/a new perspective! Works for me - sometimes! LOL!
BTW - Cowlady IS my real name! My Mom loved milk & ice cream so.........! J/K! My name is Angela but I am so used to Cowlady I answer to that more often! Even in my new job everyone calls me Cowlady if they want my attention - FAST! When they call me Angela I take a second to realize they mean me! ROFL!
I will keep "stormin' Heaven" w/prayers for you that everything turns around for you - not just so you can get your dream truck but that all your life goes smoothly or if not, that you have the peace & resolve to face whatever is going on. I can't promise things will be like Easy Street but He usually answers my prayers when I pray for others! Now, if ONLY I could get His attention for my problems! LOL! J/K God - please do NOT give me more to deal with! I really have plenty right now!!!

 

Ah, fuggedaboudit If it makes you feel any better, all i have is a dollar in my wallet and i have to strecth it out over the rest of the week . Well, unless i pass a candy machine with snickers bars, it should last till sunday

I wish I had only your problem, how about severe financial problems, a lawsuit and a court summons all in two weeks..... Don't fret over it... it is only things and money... lot's of other things that are great in life no matter what....

I am feeling your pain, Lightning the wings. Broke as a joke here, too, trying to sell my truck so I can get back on my feet financially. It's never whining, just talking, and if it makes you feel better, go for it, post your problems, no one here is going to look down on you for anything, because truth be known, things are rough everywhere right now. I bet that no one is not having any problems right now, and that's what everyone is here for, to help each other out however we need to.
