Team Canada goes for GOLD!

Canada beat up on Belarus today, by a score of 7-1, in mens hockey. Shots on goal were around 52-15! And congradulations to the womens hockey team for defeating the U.S. in the gold medal match. The mens final may also be a Canada/US matchup. It's going to be a gooder!

Yeah, the Canadians will probably face the US. I don't think the Russians will beat them.

With this in mind, the Russians will NOT suck out and go home as threatened, 'cause they know that they can whoop the Belarussians.

But as a Canadian, I'm afraid I'd have to be the first one to say the Americans will get the gold. Sure we whooped the Belarussians 7-1, but the team as a whole has not played well since the Olympics started.

I think its pure luck they even made it to the Gold medal game.

As much as I like the USA to beat the Ruskies, I want Team Canada to stomp on the Red's. Oh oh, Russians just scored two quick ones (now3-2 for the US), I may get my wish yet!

Go CANADA!

Congrats US! Too bad we're gonna beat y'all Sunday!

(Hope there isn't more of that, er, refereeing like during the Women's!)

As long as the game Sunday does not go to a shootout. I don't think I could handle the stress. I think we will though. Although if Kevin Martin can sweep a gold medal through the house I guess anything can happen...

No Kidding Power kid. I just about cried as that 40 lbs of granite inched past the Norwegian stone. At his level of play, Kevin Martin should be able to draw to the 4 foot with his eyes closed 99 times out of 100!!!!!

Go Canada on Sunday! I'll be at work, glued to the tube!
