Daytona!!!!!!!!
Well, here it is! The morning of the hallowed Daytona 500! Short off season, huh? What is up with Ford? I mean except for the rear spoliers? The top 5 starters are Chevrolets, and the highest qualifying Ford is Ricky Rudd in 9th place. Besides Rudd and Kurt Busch, there aren't any Fords starting in the top 20! Rusty with a provisional start? What is this? I am watching the garage cam on NASCAR.com and they are rolling the cars out of the garage as I am typing. This is exciting, I can hardly sit still! Anyway, here are some fun Daytona facts. Dave Marcis is 60 years old, and he is starting in his 33rd Daytona 500 today, giving him the record for the most starts in the Daytona 500. He will have 882 career starts in Winston Cup, second only to Richard Petty. He also owns the car and his race team. This race marks the tenth anniversary of Davey Allison winning the Daytona 500, 14 years after Bobby Allison and Davey Allison finished 1-2 in the 500, and just 4 seasons after Dale Earnhardt won his first Daytona 500. This is going to be a good race! May God keep all of the drivers safe today, and good luck to everyone!
Hope the race turns out to be more exciting than the 125's. Other than a crash, not much action. It's a long season though, the Fords will be tough. I hope Roush can figure out his teams problems and get them winning again.

Wel, it didn't turn out like I was hoping, but no one was hurt very bad, so I guess it turned out alright! Also, 5 of the top 7 were Fords! Whoo-hoo! Now to get ready for The Rock!
