Have you ever noticed on the back of a PT Cruiser that the latch handle for the hatchback is intagrated into PT Cruiser logo. I think this looks pretty sharp , I wonder if a Ford blue ovel would work for the latch on the tailgate ? I tried looking for a pic of the back end of a PT but couldn't find one ... anybody out there have a PT Cruiser & a truck to see if this might work . Check it out the next time you pull up behind one , looks good . It does have a larger and more intracate logo design though , so just a plain Ford logo might not look as good .

 

That sounds like a great idea cyberhiker! I bet it would look good. I never saw the latch on the PT but I saw some at work - I'll be sure to check them out!

 

I know what you are talking about and although I don't care for the pt, I do like the hatch idea, it is sharp. I think it would be pretty cool for a gate latch to be the oval.
