Glad to see you kept your cool. Much better than I probably would have done. Always remember that you could be dealing with some idiot that will shoot YOU due to the fact that HE is an idiot...

I must admit, the road rage gets me at times. Normal traffic, jams, etc. don't bother me at all. Dealing with those morons does.

Thanks guys!

As I said (or tried to - this is a confusing scenario) I did try to ignore him as best I could. He was the 1 not willing to let it drop.
I was trying to figure out what his problerm was & I think I succeeded. He was ticked off from WAY before our encounter!
He'd been on the Thruway & got off because it was at a dead stop (that's why I didn't get on it - I could see it from the side streets!) & when he got off, he cut off a bunch of cars. He was driving aggressively from that point & we didn't "meet" till a few miles later.
As for being 1/2 on the shoulder - he WAS trying to "beat" traffic & if he'd have fit he would have ridden the shoulder to the light - I see cars do that all the time. Problem is, his truck wouldn't fit. When he pulled off onto the shoulder all the way & I moved up he got mad because he lost his spot! Oh well! He shouldn't have pulled off! For all I knew he was having truck problems (it was a RAM after all! LOL!) & I wasn't going to just sit there till he got it fixed!
After he forced his way back in front of me I held back as much as I could & he was still braking every few seconds to aggravate me. When the road widened he stayed behind the car in his lane - he COULD have moved over but he wanted to stay in front of me so when I passed him that ticked him off too! I passed him to get away from him - I wasn't proving anything but I was sick of his stupidity. That's when he got alongside me at the light & called me those names again & I told him he had Ford envy. From that point on he kept trying o cut me off & I refused to let him. I wasn't going thru all that short stopping baloney again. Believe me - I learned to drive in NYC - if ANYONE knows how to drive aggressively it's ME! I learned to street race in NY - think THAT is easy? I COULD HAVE been just as stupid - I probably was in my younger days but now, I dirve to survive - plain & simple! My truck means way too much to me to risk it getting hit & above that, the lives of innocent people are my top priority. Those are major factors in my trying to avoid this guy & I am glad I did as well as I did.
Anyhow, thanks for ALL your support & kind words! I was afraid I'd just be laughed at or told I was stupid - glad to see you guys care so much!
Ed (S'CrewLoose) - I did get his plate # - I just couldn't take the time to dial 911 as I was too busy trying to avoid an accident - he was constantly doing too many stupid & dangerous maneuvers for me to try calling. But, if I see him again & I'm sure I will I will be ready for him! I memorized his plate # so I wouldn't even have to look at a piece of paper (or in this case my finger - that's where I'd written it!). ROFL!
Thanks again - I LOVE you guys! And ATST too! LOL!

yeah, yeah, way to lay the smack down
Forget that turd, what a jerk.

Good thing he wasn't armed. Too many people are today, so i try not to get myself into situations like that. Excpet, there was one time when i flicked a guy off at a stoplight for cutting me off, and he got out of his car........and then me and my 2 other friends got out of my car and he punked out and got back in his lexus and drove off, hehehe, what a *******.

Cowlady,
with the adventures you've been having lately, it sure seems like you're trying to put Fearless into an early grave...

Oh nooooo! LOL!

Let's hope not 36fan! I love my truck & I'd flip if anything happened to him! I had him blessed when I first got him & I am thinking of taking him back for a "booster shot" of holy water!
I know that lately I have had some "adventures" w/him - go figure! Then I wondered if these things happen all the time & was I just being overly aware of it. NOT! I have NEVER heard of anyone's vehicle rolling away backwards, piggyback on a flatbed! The tree crashing down does happen around here (shhh - we have a high wind warning for tonite & tomorrow!) but I never thought it would crash in my spot! There goes my garage. That plum tree WAS my garage!! LOL!
I am pleased to report that since Friday I haven't had any problems (cross fingers & toes & eyes!) & hopefully this is the end of our adventures for a LONG, LONG time - not counting playing in the mud of course!
