Does anyone work for Sprint PCS that can help me?

Hello All,

Related to my note about the Los Angeles address and possible Internet fraud posted earlier...

Is there someone out there that may be able to provide me with the owner of a Sprint PCS cellphone number that is located in Louisiana?

Thanks!

Steve

Sorry, not with any cell phone company, but I'm positive that you won't be able to get such info unless you get the police department to make the contact or a lawyer to subpoena Sprint.

If you think you've been defrauded, you should contact and file a report with you local police. The detective assigned would be able to get the info and make the case. If the fraud warrants it, the case will be turned over to the FBI. That's the criminal route. If you want to go the civil route, you need to hire a lawyer who will go to court and file papers and he'll be able to get the information with the backing of the court. I suppose you could do the filing and serving of papers yourself just as you would do for small claims court.

Yeah, it's usually better (AND CHEAPER) if you let the government do the work for you. So long as they have the manpower available, that is...

If they end up prosecuting, make sure reimbursement is part of the sentence.
