What does everyone do?
Hey all, I was just curious what everyone does for a living? I know it has probably been brought up before but oh well. I personally help build luxury motorcoaches(and you thought your trucks were nice). I actually only build the drawers but hey its a job. If you want to see some of our work check out www.marathoncoach.com. Have a good evening now i'm going to bed.

I make license plates. I have job security for the next 5 to 7 years.
I used to be a bank robber but, it is a very unforgiving field.
One little mistake and you're out of work.

When?
For money:

I also watch a neighbor kid and run him to and from school.
I do some other ocasional jobs though.

I work on a Ranch. Not here in Ohio, but in Wyoming. Pretty sweet job. Get to use trucks and tractors all day, do work on horseback once and a while, fix fence, repair bridges, cut the grass, etc.
BlueFlareside, how do you like that job? I thought about getting a degree in Civil Engineering but decided against it, because i thought i'd have more fun as a cop

DanB 360,
I am sure that being a civil engineer is not quite as exciting as being a cop or a cowboy but I love it.
I have always liked math and science and I love to draw. It can be tedious at times but there is always some new problem to fix every day.
The best part of my job is when I get to do conceptual layouts of new interchanges. I have done quite a few that have gone on to be designed by another firm (we are general consultants to some big agencies so we manage the design jobs for them). One of the interchanges I helped design was the new one at the Fort Lauderdale Airport with US 1 and I-595. I have done a couple in Puerto Rico and just finished one in Austin, TX.

I design traffic signals for SCDOT and I am responsible for all specificantions for how they are built and what is used. I am also a civil engineer. I am 1/2 way to retirement next month!
Hey BlueFlareside, thats about as close to an Urban diamond as you can get without it being one isn't it? Looks like the two single thru lanes are the extra. Looks like someone is going to be securing a lot of R/W.
