My mom served on the jury of a high profile murder case here in my town about 10 years ago. I remember the day that they were asked to look at all of the forensic photos etc. She was sick to her stomach for days. She could not talk about it. It lasted about two weeks but in the end they guy was guilty. She said even after looking at evidence you can just tell when people are lying. All of the jurors agreed the guy could not lie very well and all of the evidence was overwhelming. He was sentenced to life in prison. She said it was a unique experience and she was proud to serve on it.

I always get dismissed by 9am.
