Mine has a Texan Ford Dealers badge. In fact, most of the trucks on the lot at the dealers did.
They seemed quite common there.

Hey Adam,
Does it make you feel like one of them "American Cowboys"?

You (John Wayne accent) "Know what I mean, Pilgrim"....

Believe it or not, living in Texas, I never see these badges. I visited a lot of the Ford dealers around the Austin, TX area and didn't see them. Maybe it was a promotion at the time?

Er, no but I do have a Cowboy hat and boots for when I am undercover in Houston.

The badge in the picture above is just the dealer name where the truck was bought from or was at at some point in time. Texan Ford, which I believe is in Katy. I have seen those badges all over the place in Houston. Did you buy that truck used EnglishAdam? Or from Houston?

I bought it used from Ron Carter's in Alvin (or Pearland?)
There were a few with that badge on the back.

I think they are sticking another emblem on the back of the STX "Texas Edition", maybe I can grab one from the dealer and stick it on the back of mine, heh. Since it *is* the same truck.

Yes, I really am English and have worked in the Oil Industry for 20 years.
The town that I live in has very litttle employment apart from Tourism and an Offshore Oil Industry. It's the only place to make real money round here.

We were in Alvin to, a) buy a truck to bring back to England and b) visit our friends who live there.
My best buddy over there is a guy called Sonny Gonzalez who I used to share an apartment with when we both worked in Midland.
Our daughters are the same ages and we usually holiday together when we can. This July, we are all meeting up in Florida for the Disney Experience again. We went with them about 3 years ago and had a great time.
Check out the pic of us at the Astrodome/Reliant Park.
That's me on the left in my "Undercover" disguise as a Texan. Yeehah!!!!

There is a commercial advertising the "Texas Edition" F150. It is not a "dealer specific commercial"

It is an upgraded STX, has a Kenwood MP3 Head unit, and Aluminum Dash plates around the Stereo/ac controls. It also looks like it has Lariat/Expedition Rims on it also.

Thats all I caught, I'll pay closer attention next time and report any other options I may have missed.

The commercial appears to show the identical model to my STX aside from the color. Same rims, same dash, etc.

I'll be sure to grab a video capture of it next time I'm thinking of it.
