Recommended Reading
"FORD...The Men and the Machines" by Robert Lacey.
If you live or are from Detroit or work for Ford or have an interest in the car business, US/Michigan/Detroit history, this is the book for you!!!
It came out in the mid-80's, and, I remember it caused quite a stir in Detroit when it did.
I found a hardcover copy at a used bookstore some time ago and finally read it. It is deeply researched and extremely well-written. Lots of fascinating pictures from the Ford Family and Ford Company archives.
I thought I knew a lot about Ford having grown-up in Detroit in a "Ford Family"....but wow...
